1. Use of This Website

Welcome to NorthBayPlumbers.ca, operated by North Bay Plumbers in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use this website.

The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes about our plumbing services. While we make every effort to keep the information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any information on this site.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by any third party.

2. Service Terms

All plumbing services provided by North Bay Plumbers are subject to the following terms:

• Quotes and estimates: All quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time of assessment. Final pricing will be confirmed with you before any work begins. If additional work is discovered during a job, we will inform you and obtain your approval before proceeding.
• Emergency and after-hours rates: Emergency and after-hours service calls (outside regular business hours of Monday–Friday 8am–6pm and Saturday 9am–4pm) may be subject to additional rates. These rates will be communicated to you before service is dispatched.
• Access and conditions: You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area. North Bay Plumbers reserves the right to decline or postpone service if site conditions present a safety hazard to our team.
• Permits: Where required by the City of North Bay or the Province of Ontario, permits will be obtained for plumbing work. Permit fees are in addition to quoted service costs and will be communicated in advance.

3. Licensing & Insurance

North Bay Plumbers is fully licensed to perform plumbing work in the Province of Ontario. Our plumbers hold valid licenses as required by Ontario provincial regulations, including TSSA G3 Gas Technician certification for gas-related work.

We carry comprehensive general liability insurance and are WSIB (Workplace Safety and Insurance Board) compliant. Proof of insurance and licensing is available upon request.

4. Warranties

North Bay Plumbers stands behind our work. All completed plumbing work is covered by a workmanship warranty. If a repair or installation performed by our team fails under normal use during the warranty period, we will return and correct the issue at no additional charge.

This warranty covers labour and workmanship only. Manufacturer warranties on parts, fixtures, and equipment are separate and are governed by the manufacturer's terms. We will assist you with manufacturer warranty claims where possible.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear. Warranty terms for specific services will be detailed on your invoice.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada, North Bay Plumbers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of this website.

Our total liability for any claim arising from services performed shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those specific services. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Ontario or Canadian law, including liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. We accept cash, cheque, e-Transfer, and major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard).

• For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. Deposit requirements will be communicated at the time of booking.
• Invoices not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late payment fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
• In the event of non-payment, North Bay Plumbers reserves the right to pursue collection through appropriate legal channels. The customer shall be responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including legal fees.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer that time slot to another customer in need.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover our scheduling and dispatch costs.
• Rescheduling is always free when done with reasonable notice. Call us at 705-482-1253 to reschedule.
• Emergency service calls are not subject to cancellation fees if cancelled before the technician arrives on site.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on NorthBayPlumbers.ca — including text, images, graphics, logos, and design elements — is the property of North Bay Plumbers and is protected by Canadian copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish any content from this website without prior written consent from North Bay Plumbers. Personal, non-commercial use of the website content (such as printing a service page for reference) is permitted.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
